State Security Department provides users with the ability to submit requests for security reports and employment requests, including attachments of pictures or videos, through its website. By submitting such materials, the user agrees to grant State Security Department the rights to use all materials and information entered by the user at its discretion to serve the security of UAE. However, such inputs and materials must always comply with the following conditions:

1.1 Any information you submit or post on this site (including any images, videos, audio, written text, or any other forms of material) will not be treated as confidential or proprietary to you. Such information will be considered the property of State Security Department after being inserted into the site.    State Security Department may use such information for any purpose, including but not limited to copying, editing, deleting, repairing, configuring, transmitting or otherwise, at the discretion of State Security Department. Accordingly, you hereby assign to State Security Department all rights of any nature in these materials throughout the world, including all renewals and repatriation rights.

1.2 You are solely responsible for the inputs you provide and the consequences of your submission, including any legal action that may be taken against you for false reporting or participation in State Security offenses or any other offenses punished by UAE law.

1.3 When you provide user inputs, you must ensure that you possess or have the licenses, rights, approvals, and authorizations necessary to use and delegate to State Security Department for the use of all patents, trademarks, commercial secrets, copyrights, or other proprietary rights in all user inputs. You must also ensure that you have obtained all necessary approvals and authorizations from other persons and right holders who may be interested in the materials provided, including videographers in the inputs and their guardians.

1.4 You grant State Security Department the freedom to circulate information and materials attached with others in a way that serves local and international security for the purpose of displaying, copying, deleting, editing, re-editing or modifying the material provided by you in any form of participation without allocation and through any communication channel. This license is not restricted by any time or place and is not subject to cancellation or restriction by any means. This license is limited to State Security Department, government and private institutions, and may only be authorized for use by a party determined by State Security Department.

1.5 Notices of alleged violations that may be committed by user inputs can be provided at the reception in State Security Department's building in Abu Dhabi to the legal department. Exclusively only for copyright violations and any other comments, requests, and messages shall be transmitted through the channels allocated on this website.

1.6 By using this site, you acknowledge that you may be subject to user input from a variety of sources.    State Security Department is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, safety, or intellectual property rights of the user inputs. You also acknowledge that you may be exposed to inaccurate, offensive, obscene, or objectionable user inputs, and agree to waive any legal rights or fair compensation for you or others against State Security Department regarding these inputs, and you agree not to hold State Security Department, its officials, and employees responsible for all matters arising from your use of the website.

1.7 State Security Department shall have the final say, in accordance with its sole discretion, regarding whether or not to use the information in service of the security of UAE. There is no requirement for State Security Department to offer or use user input, and it may decide, at its own discretion, as it considers appropriate.
